Pastor Jack Hyles Preaches On Hell

Luke 16:23-24, “And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.”

Sadly, the average Baptist pastor doesn't preach on the subject of Hell even once every two years. That ought not be! Dear reader, do we really believe in a literal place of Hell? Do we really believe that men who die in their sins without Jesus as their personal Savior will go to burn in Hell forever? If so, why do 99% of churches today not go door-to-door soulwinning? Shame on all of us for not doing more to warn lost sinners of coming judgment and damnation in the everlasting Lake of Fire. Here are some sermons about Hell by Pastor Jack Hyles:
Here is a sermon excerpt from Dr. Hyles, preaching about Hell...

Is There A Hell?
(by Pastor Jack Hyles)

Dear reader, the $64,000 question is: Have you been born again? If you are not sure, please do not go to sleep tonight without settling the matter. If you admit that you are a guilty sinner in the sight of a holy God, and you will simply receive Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as full payment for your sins, believing that He was buried and then resurrected three days later, you will be saved instantly, irrevocably and eternally. ...

Faith Is Not Faithful Obedience

Job 32:9, “Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.”

Galatians 5:4, “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”

Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.”

My ministry friend Onorato Diamante wrote this truthful words. ...

I thought this was so excellent that I decided to share it with others.

Beware Of The Deadly Seventh-Day Adventist Cult

Recently I ran across an issue of “Signs Of The Times,” a popular Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) magazine. On the front cover, and also on all 15 pages of the magazine, are printed the words, “TRUTH MATTERS,” which is very disturbing because SDA's don't speak the truth, as I will show you.

I do not question the sincerity of SDA's. No doubt most of SDA's members are sincere, being blinded by Satan (2nd Corinthians 4:3-4). I am not trying to be unkind by exposing SDA's; but rather, I am contending for the Biblical Christian faith, which SDA's deviate from significantly. What makes Seventh-day Adventism so dangerous is that they align themselves so closely with Christianity on the surface, but a learned believer who “rightly divides the word of truth” will be able to discern SDA's doctrines of devils.

First, here is a quote from page 6 of “Signs Of The Times” (I don't see an issue number, but the magazine title reads, “Who are the Adventists?”). The following quote sounds great and gives the unlearned person the false impression that SDA's are Christians...
Salvation by grace

The most important doctrine that Seventh-day Adventists share with other denominations is salvation by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. This means that our obedience to God's laws contributes nothing to our salvation; we do not merit salvation because of anything we do. We are saved exclusively on the basis of our faith in Christ's death on the cross for our sins. This doctrine of the Christian church is clearly taught in the New Testament. For example, Paul said, "We maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from observing the law" (Romans 8:28). And in another place, he said, "It is by grace you have been saved, through faith, . . . not by works" (Ephesians 2:8, 9)
SOURCE: 'Who are the Adventists?,' “Truth Matters: Signs Of The Times” magazine, page 6
The preceding quote sounds good, but it's not in agreement with the writings of Ellen G. White, whom SDA's all but worship as their major prophetess. I can assure you that SDA's DON'T teach salvation by grace!!! In sharp contrast to the preceding quote, in the following quote from Miss White's book: “Steps To Christ,” she teaches Lordship Salvation (which is a works-based false plan of salvation). Read carefully what she teaches...
“That so-called faith in Christ which professes to release men from the obligation of obedience to God, is not faith, but presumption. 'By grace are ye saved through faith.' But 'faith, if it hath not works, is dead.'”

SOURCE: Ellen G. White, Steps To Christ, p. 61
So “faith” according to Ellen White is not simply trusting the Gospel to be saved. In addition, Miss White teaches that faith encompasses all of the obligations of living the Christian life. Starting to get the picture? Satan's greatest weapon is to con people into living the Christian life without ever being born-again!!!

Ellen White is employing the typical double-talk we often see from false teachers. In one place in her book she teaches that salvation is by God's grace through faith alone, without works; but then she teaches in another place (as I just quoted to you) that faith without works is not genuine faith. That is a corrupt plan of salvation, which superficially professes the simplicity that is in Christ by faith alone, but then perverts the Gospel by requiring discipleship in order to be saved.

Prolific author and 33rd degree Freemason, Manly P. Hall (1901-1990), makes the brilliant truthful statement:
“The half-truth is the most dangerous form of lie, because it can be defended in part by incontestable logic.”

SOURCE: “The Secret Destiny Of America,” page 195, by Manly P. Hall, a 33rd degree Freemason; 1944; ISBN: 0-89314-388-X; publisher: The Philosophical Research Society, Inc, Los Angeles, California
Don't miss that! This concept is so important to understand when exposing the religious cults! This is exactly what Ellen White and SDA's are guilty of, that is, fabricating and propagating half-truths! By sheltering lies behind truth, it makes it very difficult to spiritually discern their doctrinal errors. When a naïve person reads the first quote I gave you earlier, they are duped into concluding that SDA's must be Christians. I'm frustrated that some born-again Christians have been deceived to believe that Seventh-day Adventists are saved, because THEY ARE NOT!!! When you delve deeper into the SDA religion, understanding the dangers of the half-truth, it becomes obvious that something is very wrong with their dogmas (teachings)!!!

If you do some homework, you will discover that SDA's have an exclusive doctrine in their faith called, “Investigative Judgment.” This damnable heresy teaches that in the year 1844 Jesus entered into the Holy Place in Heaven to begin His Investigative Judgment work, to determine who is “worthy” of eternal life. SDA's claim that the criteria of who is worthy or not is whether or not your lifestyle supports your profession of faith.

This is a works-based plan of salvation, not the free grace Gospel. SDA's won't tell you upfront about their heresy of Investigative Judgment, but it is a core fundamental doctrine of their belief system. So don't be gullible to fall for their rhetoric that they believe one is saved by faith alone, because SDA's are deceitful liars. Their idea of “faith” is not the Bible's idea of faith.

SDA's teach hardcore Lordship Salvation. ...
Baptism

Baptism is a symbol of our union with Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, and our reception of the Holy Spirit.
It is by immersion in water and is contingent on an affirmation of faith in Jesus and evidence of repentance of sin. It follows instruction in the Holy Scriptures and acceptance of their teachings.

SOURCE: https://www.adventist.org/beliefs/
Nowhere does the Word of God teach that you must show forth evidence that you have repented (turned from) your sin to be water baptized. You need to know that SDA's (like all pseudo-Christian cults), pervert the Gospel by requiring you to turn away from your sins to be saved.

Seventh-Day Adventism Is A Hardcore Works Based Plan Of Salvation

The following dear reader is irrefutable blatant evidence that SDA is a Satanic cult! . . .
The investigative judgment reveals to heavenly intelligences who among the dead are asleep in Christ and therefore, in Him, are deemed worthy to have part in the first resurrection.

It also makes manifest who among the living are abiding in Christ, keeping the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and in Him, therefore, are ready for translation into His everlasting kingdom.

This judgment vindicates the justice of God in saving those who believe in Jesus. It declares that those who have remained loyal to God shall receive the kingdom. The completion of this ministry of Christ will mark the close of human probation before the Second Advent.

SOURCE: https://www.adventist.org/beliefs/
Did you understand that? They are equating saving faith in Jesus Christ with being faithful to keep God's commandments. The first resurrection in Revelation 20:6 is for all saved people, that is, God's children. The second resurrection in Revelation 20:11-15 is only for the damned, that is, the lost. In this heretical quote that we just read, SDA's errantly teach that to qualify as “worthy” of taking part in the first resurrection, that you must be loyal throughout your lifetime on earth to keep God's commandments.

Also, you'll notice in numerous places in their official Statement of Faith, that they require you to receive Jesus as your Savior AND LORD. Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we directed to receive Jesus as our “Lord to be saved. Dear reader, Jesus is Lord, you don't make Him Lord. When you trust Jesus as your personal Savior, He automatically becomes your Lord (Master). But you don't need to surrender to follow and serve Christ to be saved, which is the garbage theology being espoused by SDA's.

There is so much conflicting information on social media. People are utterly confused about how to get to Heaven. There is a man in the church I have been attending for the past 2 years, who told me that he thinks you have to be water baptized to get to Heaven. This man is a deacon in our church. Sad to say, my pastor doesn't contend for the Christian faith. I've never heard him teach people that you don't have to be baptized to be saved, you simply need to trust Jesus as your Savior.

I often run into resistance when trying to help pastors. They resent my advice. Proverbs 23:9, “Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

So, beware of the cults when they speak of faith, because what faith may mean to one man means something entirely different to another.

Beware Of Ken Ham's Satanic Plan Of Salvation

1st Corinthians 15:1-4, “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

You have just read 'THE GOSPEL' which the inspired Holy Bible plainly defines for us, so there is no need for guesswork. Yet, today we hear and see all kinds of unbiblical embellishments to the Gospel, which confuse and obscure the truth, so that lost sinners cannot be born-again. A false gospel cannot produce the new birth!

For example: The following photo was taken by a friend of a friend of mine, who sent this to me today. In this photo, which was taken at Ken Ham's “ARK ENCOUNTER in Williamstown, Kentucky, you will see that Ken Ham distorts God's simple plan of salvation, requiring more than faith to be saved.

Damnable Heresy On Display At Ken Ham's 'ARK ENCOUNTER'

What you have just read in this photo from Ken Ham's Ark Encounter is damnable heresy! Ken Ham is preaching another gospel accursed by God. ...
Galatians 1:6-9, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.”
Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. Nowhere does the Bible say to turn from your sins and give your life to Him [Jesus] to get to Heaven! This is the Devil's lie of Lordship Salvation, which has absolutely flooded into the churches today. That sadly includes so-called Independent Fundamental Baptist churches as well. Please read, A Perversion Of The Gospel: Lordship Salvation” (by Dr. Curtis Hutson; the last chapter from his great book titled: Salvation Crystal Clear). God's curse is upon anyone who tampers with the Gospel. God's simple plan of salvation is by grace alone without works. Romans 4:4-5, “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.
“Christianity is not the sacrifice we make, but the sacrifice we trust. LIVING YOUR life for Jesus won't save you, but BELIEVING Jesus gave HIS LIFE for you will.” —Pastor Thomas Cucuzza, Important Truths Satan Does Not Want You To Know
Amen and amen! We don't hear much accurate preaching like that nowadays. Instead, most of what we hear is from infidel fools like Marty Herron, Gary Walton, Steve Pettit, John MacArthur, John Piper, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer and Ken Ham (who all errantly teach that faith is not enough to get to Heaven). Ray comfort and Ken Ham's Answers-In-Genesis both even use the word “second in explaining their accursed plan of salvation. That is, they teach that there is a “second” thing you must do to be saved, other than trust Christ. That second thing according to both of these ungodly false teachers is to “turn from your sinful way.” I didn't see that in our text passage from 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, did you?

Ken Ham is a hellbound imposter, a self-righteous false teacher who has taken it upon himself to corrupt God's simple plan of salvation. Here is another photo that my ministry friend sent to me today, showing Ken Ham's counterfeit plan of salvation.

Damnable Heresy On Display At Ken Ham's 'ARK ENCOUNTER'

Again, where does the inspired King James Bible teach that you must “repent of your sins” to be saved? It doesn't, not anywhere! In Acts 20:21 we read about “repentance toward God.” In 2nd Timothy 2:25 we read about “repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.” In Hebrews 6:1 we read about “repentance from dead works.” But nowhere in the inspired Holy Bible will you find the phrase “repent of your sins.” Ungodly men added those words to corrupt God's simple plan of salvation.

Salvation is not a reward for the righteous, it is a gift for the guilty!

Salvation is not doing your best, it is having Christ's best put to your account through receiving Him by faith.

Turning away from sinful ways would be a work. Faith puts all of the merit where it belongs, on the object of our faith, Jesus and His work.

If to “repent” means to forsake our sinful ways TO BE SAVED, but Jesus already paid for our sins by dying on the cross, then what are we repenting from?

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU.

A Young Earth Creation Contradicts Legitimate Science

I like how Michael Pearl explains the debate. ...

Two Views On The Age Of The Earth

A Young Earth Creation (YEC) contradicts the scientific evidence that the earth and universe are billions of years old in appearance. Even the unsaved world recognizes that a YEC theory is pseudoscience. It is false science! Dear reader, dinosaurs didn't roam the earth 5,000 years ago, as YEC advocates bizarrely claim.
Ark Encounter is operated by Answers in Genesis (AiG), a YEC organization that also operates the Creation Museum 45 miles (70 km) away in Petersburg, Kentucky. Australian Ken Ham, creationist and CEO of AiG, founded the park. The theme park promotes pseudoscientific young Earth creationist beliefs about the age of the universe, age of the Earth, and co-existence of humans and non-avian dinosaurs. —SOURCE: Wikipedia: Arc Encounter
To embrace the lame theories of the YEC camp, you must turn a blind eye to science. I read these great preacher quotes today. ...
"Let's quit fiddling with religion and do something to bring the world to Christ." —Billy Sunday

"When you get saved, you get saved not because you deserve it, but because you simply let God save you and because you confess your own poor sinful state and your inability to save yourself." —John R. Rice

"I believe that if there is one thing which pierces the Master's heart with unutterable grief, it is not the world's iniquity, but the Church's indifferences." —F.B. Meyer
Evangelist Ken Ham is not only wrong on the age of the earth, and wrong on when the dinosaurs lived, but he is also wrong on God's simple plan of salvation. I cannot warn you enough to steer clear of this theological madman in the pulpit today. If you like being lied to and deceived by the Devil, then go ahead and continue listening to Ken Ham's ramblings, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).

Shame On Pastors Who Support Ken Ham's Damnable Heresy

Here is Ken Ham's Answer-In-Genesis, which he owns and controls, raking in roughly $35,000,000 per year conning people with his YEC scam. In the following video you will see and hear for yourself what his ministry is preaching. ...

The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM

Birds of a feather flock together! Pensacola Christian College (PCC) wickedly bids Godspeed to infidel Ken Ham. PCC invited Ken Ham to speak at their Campus in 2022, honoring that wicked false prophet. In so doing, the Bible warns that PCC are partakers of Ken Ham's evil deeds. 2nd John 1:11, “For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. PCC has much blood on their hands. So also does Pastor Clarence Sexton and his Crown College in Powell, Tennessee for promoting and honoring Ken Ham, supporting his false plan of salvation. Is it no thing to you either that the Gospel is being changed?

Dear reader, there are not two different versions of God's plan of salvation. Either you must turn away from your sinful behavior to get to Heaven, or else you do not, but it cannot be both! The inspired Holy Bible simply teaches that we are all guilty hell-deserving sinners (Romans 3:19-20; Romans 6:23; Revelation 21:8), and that Jesus paid our debt through Calvary's cross (1st Corinthians 1:18), by the precious blood that He shed and sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat to pay for our sins (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24; 1st Peter 1:19-19). Jesus was buried and then raised up miraculously from the dead three days later. Any guilty sinner who by faith receives Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as payment for his or her sins, believing that Christ is risen, is saved. It is that simple to go to Heaven. 1st Thessalonians 4:14, “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.”

Woe unto Ken Ham! Woe unto Temple Baptist Church and their senior pastor, Clarence Sexton, in Tennessee for wickedly bidding Godspeed to Ken Ham. Woe unto Pastor Jeff Redlin and his cronies at PCC's Campus Church, for wickedly honoring such a devil as Ken Ham, who corrupts the grace of God into works. If you missed it earlier, or have already forgotten what Ken Ham promotes at his Satanic ARK ENCOUNTER, here it is again: Ken Ham requires lost sinners to turn from your sins and give your life to Him [Jesus] to get to Heaven! Sadly, what Ken Ham is teaching does not match what Jesus said in the Bible.

Did not Judas give his life to follow and serve Jesus? Yes, he did. Judas was one of Christ's very apostles. Yet, tragically, Judas perished in his sin of unbelief and is burning in Hell still today without hope, rest or mercy. Judas made his choice! Jesus said that it would have been better for Judas if he had never been born. Oh, what am unnecessary tragedy!

I want to repeat a great quote that I shared with you earlier by Pastor Frederick B. Meyer (1847-1929):
"I believe that if there is one thing which pierces the Master's heart with unutterable grief, it is not the world's iniquity, but the Church's indifferences." —F.B. Meyer
And here also is a needful quote by Pastor Thomas M. Cucuzza:
“The Devil is doing his greatest work behind pulpits. [I] hate to say it, but that's the truth; because people have the presupposition that when you come to church, and somebody gets up to speak, that person is speaking truth. That's the way we've been raised.” —Pastor Thomas M. Cucuzza, Important Truths Satan Does Not Want You To Know
God pity the incompetent pastors today who are indifferent toward doctrinal error. By God's grace, I will continue to faithfully expose the lies of the Devil, and the ungodly preachers who are pulling on the same rope as the Devil. Thank you for reading my blog. Jesus is precious!!!

You CAN Receive Jesus As Your Savior, But Not Lord

1st Timothy 4:10, “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”

One of the great truths that I have learned in my Christian life is that receiving Jesus as the “Lord of your life has nothing to do with getting saved. My favorite Bible preacher, Pastor Jack Hyles (1926-2001), eloquently drives this truth home in this beautiful sermon excerpt. You don't take Jesus as your Lord to get saved, you take Him as your personal Savior!

Pastor M.R. DeHaan (1891-1965) made this tremendous statement:
"There is a vast difference between coming to Jesus for salvation and coming after Jesus for service. Coming to Christ makes one a believer, while coming after Christ makes one a disciple. All believers are not disciples. To become a believer one accepts the invitation of the Gospel, to be a disciple one obeys the challenge to a life of dedicated service and separation. Salvation comes through the sacrifice of Christ; discipleship comes only by sacrifice of self and surrender to His call for devoted service. Salvation is free, but discipleship involves paying the price of a separated walk. Salvation can't be lost because it depends upon God's faithfulness, but discipleship can be lost because it depends upon our faithfulness." —Pastor M.R. DeHaan, “Hebrews”; Zondervan Publishing House; 1959 (p. 117)
Amen and amen! Anybody who associates a change of behavior with the new birth is preaching another gospel. Sadly, the official doctrinal position of Pensacola Christian College (PCC) is, quote:
"Repentance is a change of mind resulting in a change of behavior."
That is another gospel. PCC is preaching a counterfeit plan of salvation. The Gospel does not teach partial faith in Christ plus works; but rather, childlike faith in Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection from the dead three days later (1 Corinthians 15;1-4).

➜ Roman Catholicism errantly says to be saved a person 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗧 do good works.
➜ Calvinism errantly says a saved person 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 do good works.
➜ The Holy Bible says a saved person 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 do good works (Titus 2;12)

Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

I have heard preachers say during an invitation after a sermon, that you should trust Jesus as your “Lord and Savior.” Although I dislike and choose not to use such terminology myself, since it is inaccurate theologically, using this expression doesn't necessarily mean that a preacher is teaching Lordship Salvation. It depends on what he means by the word “Lord.” If you mean that we must by faith receive the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved, then I wholeheartedly agree. Acts 16:30-31, “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” But if you mean what Satan's modern corrupt Bible revisions say in Romans 10:9, that you must “declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord'” to be saved, then I totally 100% disagree! My humble opinion is that we should try to avoid using words and clichés that are not found in the Bible, when teaching the Bible.

Dr. Jack Hyles exposes the heresy of Lordship Salvation in his helpful book titled, “Blue Denim And Lace.” Chapter 11 is titled, “Lordship Salvation: An Enemy Of Soulwinning.” Our text verse says that Jesus is the SAVIOUR of all men, not the LORD of all men. ...
1st Timothy 4:10, “For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.”
Notice that Jesus is the Saviour of all men, especially of THEM THAT BELIEVE. What does that mean? It means that Jesus is also the Savior of Christ-rejecters! This is why we read in the following Scripture passage that Jesus even bought false prophets with His precious blood. 2nd Peter 2:1, “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.” Amen and amen.

Jesus died on the cross of Calvary with the ultimate goal of being the LORD of all mankind, but He only requires that you receive Him as your SAVIOR to get to Heaven. ...
Romans 14:9, “For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.”
Jesus died for you so that you can escape the fires of Hell and be with Him in eternity, but He desires earnestly that you will also take Him as your Lord. To clarify, if you are a born-again child of God Jesus is your Lord, but that doesn't mean you have received Him as Lord. Jesus wants every saint to follow Him, committing our life to serve Him faithfully. However, receiving Jesus as the “Lord” of your life has absolutely NOTHING to do with receiving God's free gift of eternal life, which is by faith alone in Jesus Christ the “Savior.” You take Jesus as your SAVIOR, not your LORD, to be saved. The former is SALVATION (Romans 10:13), the latter is SERVICE (Romans 12:1). The former is SONSHIP (John 1:12), the latter is DISCIPLESHIP (Luke 14:33).

In closing, Jesus wants every born-again believer to surrender to His Lordship, to follow and serve God faithfully; however, this is NOT required or even allowed to be saved. Jesus died on a cross to pay down our massive debt of sin, which we simply could not pay. JESUS PAID IT ALL!!! So, if you want to go to Heaven, you simply need to CEASE from your own works and REST completely in Christ's finished work of redemption. And then once you are saved, at no risk of ever going to Hell again, God wants you to follow His only begotten Son, obeying His commandments. John 14:15, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Shame On Pensacola Christian College For Supporting Wickedness

Galatians 1:6-7, “I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.”

2nd John 1:10-11, “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

Shame on Pensacola Christian College (PCC) and their wicked Campus Church for sinfully bidding Godspeed to false teacher and infidel Ken Ham, who says that faith is not enough to get to Heaven. According to the counterfeit plan of salvation of Ken Ham's ANSWERS-IN-GENESIS, you must also turn from your sins, turn from your wicked way, and begin to follow Christ, none of which are biblical.

PCC wickedly invited and honored Ken Ham in 2022. 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝟭𝟲:𝟮𝟵-𝟯𝟭, “𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘀, 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝘀, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱? 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱, 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲.” Paul and Silas didn't tell the man to turn from his sin, turn from his wicked way, nor to begin to follow Christ (which is discipleship, not sonship; it is service, not salvation).

John Bunyan said it best:
“If you do not put a difference between justification wrought by the man Christ without and sanctification wrought by the Spirit of Christ within, you are not able to divide the Word aright; but contrariwise, you corrupt the Word of God, and cast stumbling blocks before the people.” —John Bunyan (1628-1688)

Dear reader, we have multiple plans of salvation circulating in our churches today. Sadly, that definitely includes so-called independent fundamental Baptist churches. To make matters worse, 95% of pastors and preachers today couldn't care less about what I just said. Due to the ungodly love of money and settling in to one's backslidden “comfort zone,” today's clergy have become complacent and indifferent. They are dropping the ball for God.

The FALSE GOSPEL of ANSWERS IN GENESIS and KEN HAM

Even worse, when faithful laymen and preachers like me faithfully contend for the faith, exposing doctrinal error in the churches and social media, wicked pastors become angry, resentful, defensive and ban me from attending their churches. Here are some of the rotten names of those corrupt pastors: Marty Herron, Jared Baldwin, Joe Hensen, Gary Walton, Sean Quinlan, Jeff Redlin and Timothy Zacharias. I am not the only one who has suffered this terrible cruel fate at the hands of ungodly pastors. I know of numerous individual believers who have been banned from returning to church, simply because they TOLD THE TRUTH and it offended the pastor. Then when those hurting human beings begged to come back to church, those cruel, arrogant, proudful, bad pastors refused, making matters worse. It is shameful.

“𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻. 𝗬𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻! ...𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮'𝘀 𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻! 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴...” —𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗛𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘀, "𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻"

Yes, our churches are dying, and many are already spiritually dead!

Sadly, I have to remain silent in the Baptist church that I attend now, lest my pastor show me the door. He's done it to other believers. Since I need a church family, I just stay quiet. But the church languishes in mediocrity and struggles to grow, because there is no organized soulwinning. The pastor doesn't believe in it. He says it's the church member's job to go soulwinning, not the church's. Folks, that is just ridiculous! Pastor Lee Roberson (1909-2007) was absolutely right: “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” If the pastor doesn't lead the way, by meeting with the church to go soulwinning as a group, then no one will do it. Dr. Hyles used to wisely say: “The most important job is the one that doesn't get done.” I love that quote.

In Ocala, Florida, Pastor Sam Adams at the Independent Baptist Church preaches hardcore Lordship Salvation. It sickened me when I listen to one of his sermons, and I heard numerous church members shouting “Amen!” in agreement with his damnable heresy that you must turn away from your sinning to be saved. Those church members are hellbound in their self-righteousness, all because of their ungodly pastor. But if their pastor preached a free grace Gospel, they would shout “Amen!” in agreement just the same. Why? It is simply because of what Dr. Lee Roberson rightly said: “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” Wherever the pastor leads the people, they WILL follow him. Heavy, heavy, hangs the fiery judgment of God upon any pastor who misleads his church congregation regarding how to be saved. If you are wrong on the Gospel friend, you will go to Hell to burn forever in fire and brimstone. It is that simple. As good as it may sound that you must forsake your lifestyle of sin to get to Heaven, that is another gospel, not the Gospel taught in 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, which is Jesus' death on the cross, burial and bodily resurrection three days later. That is the 'GOOD NEWS' by which all who BELIEVE IT are saved immediately, irrevocably and permanently (Romans 1:16; 1st Corinthians 1:21).

Then there is Bob Jones University (BJU), a Lordship Salvation Calvinist cult. BJU invited and honored hellbound Calvinist, Paul Washer, in December of 2022 at BJU chapel. Kindly said, if you think Calvinists are going to Heaven, you are also going to Hell with them. PCC is a disgrace to the cause of Jesus Christ. They have dipped their sails in sinful compromise, refusing to break sinful ties with the Alexandrian cult at Bob Jones University (Note: I don't agree with several teachings by Dr. Peter S. Ruckman, 1921-2016, but this series that he wrote exposing BJU is awesome). Please beware of PCC, BJU and any other false teachers who promote infidel Ken Ham, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Paul Washer, et cetera. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

Dennis Corle's “REVIVAL FIRES” Get Repentance Wrong

2nd Timothy 2:25, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”

At their website with the heading: “REVIVAL FIRES: FUNDAMENTALISM'S POSITIVE VOICE, Dr. Dennis Corle makes the following statements:
God does expect us to obey Him after we become His children, and the very first command that He gives is found in Acts 2:38. “…Repent, and be baptized every one of you…” Repentance takes place within, when I turn away from sin and self and turn to Christ as my Saviour. [emphasis added] —SOURCE: Revival Fires, 'Eternity'
Where does the Bible teach that repentance takes place “when I turn away from sin and self”? Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.” Well meaning and sincere clergy have ADDED words to the inspired King James Bible which God never put in there. RIGHT DOCTRINE MATTERS!!!

It is sadly a trifle matter to thousands of preachers today to change God's simple plan of salvation. Telling a lost sinner that God requires them to “turn away from sin and self” to be saved is WORKS! Argue as many will, requiring someone to TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND SELF places a heavy burden and obligation upon a sinner to DO SOMETHING in order for them to receive God's free gift of eternal life.
“More people will die and burn in Hell, because they're trusting too much!”—Pastor Jack Hyles, “Yea, Yea, And Nay, Nay!

“Everything that's hard and complicated about salvation is God's side of it!”—Pastor Jack Hyles, “Yea, Yea, And Nay, Nay!
You cannot show me in the Gospel of John where it reads, “turn away from sin and self” to be saved. Shame on Revival Fires for corrupting the Gospel. The Gospel of John is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:21, But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. We keep hearing infidel fools like Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, John MacArthur and other proponents of the Lordship Salvation heresy citing Scripture passages from Matthew, Mark, and Luke (to bolster up their Strawman heresy of Lordship Salvation); but God authored the Gospel of John to convince us that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God, so that by BELIEVING we would be saved.
  • The Gospel of Matthew was written to convince us that Jesus is a King.
  • The Gospel of Mark was written to convince us that Jesus is a Servant.
  • The Gospel of Luke was written to convince us that Jesus is a Man.
  • The Gospel of John was written to convince us that Jesus is the Christ.
So any time you hear a corrupt preacher citing passages from other books of the Bible to support their damnable heresy, just go read or listen to the Gospel of John to clarify God's simple plan of salvation. In John chapters 19 and 20 we read about Jesus' crucifixtion, His burial and bodily resurrection. That is the Gospel. Jesus died on a cross in your place and mine, to pay our debt of sin. Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea buried Jesus' body in a tomb. Three days later by a miracle of God, Jesus physically resurrected from the dead. Amen. If you acknowledge THE TRUTH that you are a guilty sinner and turn to Jesus Christ by faith, that is REPENTANCE.

Some of the best help in understanding repentance comes from Pastor Harry Ironside (1876-1951). Please consider the following eloquent quotations:

Dr. Harry Ironside On Repentance

"Repentance is the sinner’s recognition of and acknowledgment of his lost estate." ('Except Ye Repent,' p. 11)

"No one was ever saved in any dispensation excepting by grace. Neither sacrificial observances, nor ritual service, nor works of law ever had any part in justifying the ungodly. Nor were any sinners ever saved by grace until they repented. Repentance is not opposed to grace; it is the recognition of the need of grace. ‘They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.’" ('Except Ye Repent,' p. 10)

"There is no saving merit in owning my true condition. There is no healing in acknowledging the nature of my illness. And repentance, as we have seen, is just this very thing." ('Except Ye Repent,' p. 12)

"Need I add that repentance then is not to be considered synonymous with joining a church or taking up one's religious duties, as people say. It is not doing anything." ('Except Ye Repent,' p. 14)

I think the following quote From Dr. Ironside is one of the best I've found on repentance:

“Which comes first, repentance or faith? In Scripture we read, 'Repent ye, and believe the gospel.' Yet we find true believers exhorted to 'repent, and do the first works.' So intimately are the two related that you cannot have one without the other. The man who believes God repents; the repentant soul puts his trust in the Lord when the Gospel is revealed to him. Theologians may wrangle over this, but the fact is, no man repents until the Holy Spirit produces repentance in his soul through the truth. No man believes the Gospel and rests in it for his own salvation until he has judged himself as a needy sinner before God. And this is repentance.” (Except Ye Repent, p. 16)

QUESTION 67: I understand that you teach that repentance is a prerequisite to salvation, that is, that a man has to show a certain amount of sorrow for sin before God will cooperate with him and save him. Is this your position?

ANSWER: It certainly is not. In the first place, repentance is not mere penitence or sorrow for sin. Repentance is simply a man's recognition of his own true condition before God. No man would desire to come to the Saviour unless he realized his need of a Saviour. The realization of this need and the acknowledgment of it is, in the truest sense, the work of repentance. Thus men repent and through believing the Gospel are eternally saved. We who are saved, however, have done more repenting since we were converted than we did before.

QUESTION 166: Is repentance the first or the second step in salvation?

ANSWER: Repentance is not a "step" at all, yet there is no salvation without repentance. But repentance is a changed attitude on the part of man. This is what takes place when he believes the Word of Truth as to his lost condition and need of a Saviour. Thus faith and repentance are indissolubly linked together. [Harry A. Ironside, 'What's the Answer? 362 Bible Questions Answered,' pp. 36, 76]

* * * * * * *

You confess you are a sinner, unable to save yourself, and you are willing to be saved in God’s way. This is repentance. And remember, it is not the amount of repentance that counts: it is the fact that you turn from unbelief to God that puts you in the place where His grace avails through believing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"Strictly speaking, not one of us has ever repented enough. None of us has realized the enormity of our guilt as God sees it. But when we judge ourselves and trust the Saviour whom He has provided, we are saved through His merits. As recipients of His lovingkindness, repentance will be deepened and will continue day by day, as we learn more and more of His infinite worth and our own unworthiness." SOURCE: From 'Full Assurance' by Harry A. Ironside, pages 89-90

The following statement is from Dr. Ironside's commentary on Luke: "Repentance is just the sick man’s acknowledgment of his illness. It is simply the sinner recognizing his guilt and confessing his need of deliverance” (Luke, p. 253).

Thus, to Dr. Harry Ironside (1976-1951) repentance is simply the sick man acknowledging his illness; the sinner recognizing his need. It is a man realizing his utter bankruptcy before God, judging himself as a Hell-deserving, lost, corrupt sinner before God. A person cannot be saved apart from acknowledgment of his sinful lost condition before God. I agree with Dr. Ironside.

Simply come to God as a guilty sinner, and receive Jesus' sacrifice on the cross as payment for your sins, believing that after He was buried for three days, Jesus miraculously resurrected bodily from the dead. Jesus conquered sin and the grave for you and me dear reader. That is what the Apostle Paul means in 1st Corinthians 15:55-57, “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Just like a bee that stings its victim, but then dies so it can never sting anyone again, Jesus removed the sting from death for those who trust in Him. For the born-again child of God, we need have no fear whatsoever of dying, because Jesus took the sting out of death, by His precious blood which He shed on the cross, and sprinkled upon the heavenly Mercy Seat (Hebrews 9:12, 22-24; 12:24). Simply BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS, Oh sinner, and you will be saved immediately and forever. It is that simple to go to Heaven, when your body can no longer house your soul and spirit.

Pastor Harry Ironside taught a free grace view of the Gospel. Consider further the following awesome quote by Dr. Ironside:
“The Gospel is not a call to repentance, or to amendment of our ways, to make restitution for past sins, or to promise to do better in the future. These things are proper in their place, but they do not constitute the Gospel; for the Gospel is not good advice to be obeyed, it is good news to be believed. Do not make the mistake then of thinking that the Gospel is a call to duty or a call to reformation, a call to better your condition, to behave yourself in a more perfect way than you have been doing in the past …

Nor is the Gospel a demand that you give up the world, that you give up your sins, that you break off bad habits, and try to cultivate good ones. You may do all these things, and yet never believe the Gospel and consequently never be saved at all.”

SOURCE: Harry A. Ironside, from the sermon: What Is The Gospel?
Sadly, Moody Church and their Moody Bible Institute today are doctrinally corrupt, teaching the fallacies of Calvinism instead of the Gospel of free grace. That is why Moody Ministries today support, honor and publish the heretical books of infidel John MacArthur.

Dear friend, the Revival Fires ministry are dropping the ball for God, by teaching a woeful misunderstanding about what it means to repent to be saved. Kindly said, Dr. Dennis Corle is very wrong that repentance means to, “turn away from sin and self.” That is a despicable form of Lordship Salvation, adding to the Gospel, by requiring sinners to do more than simply put one's childlike faith in the 'GOOD NEWS' (GOSPEL) of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dr. John R. Rice was a godly man, whom I respect and admire for his faithfulness to the Lord. However, Dr. Rice did a woeful injustice to the Christian world by using such unbiblical phrases as “repent of your sins with all your heart” and “turn from your sin” to be saved. I would have exposed John R. Rice as an unsaved heretic if it weren't for his clarifying of exactly what he meant by “turn from your sin” to be saved. Anyone who represents Dr. Rice as teaching that you have to turn from sins, as a separate act from believing, is slandering him! Please read what Dr. Rice actually believed and taught:
There are those hyper-dispensationalists who think that John the Baptist preached a different Gospel from Christ when he commanded repentance (Matt. 3:2). But it is the same repentance Jesus commanded in Matthew 4:17, in Luke 13:3 and 5, and the same repentance that Paul preached in Athens that God “now commandeth all men every where to repent” (Acts 17:30 31). Repentance is not a different plan of salvation from having faith: it is part of the same plan of salvation. Or rather repentance is simply another way of describing or looking at the plan of salvation. One who turns from sin to God has done so by trusting in Jesus ChristA change of mind toward sin is necessarily involved in saving faith.
Everyone who genuinely repented under the preaching of John the Baptist put his trust in the Saviour John the Baptist preached, and was regenerated. There is no such thing as being “a disciple of John the Baptist” in any honest sense without being a disciple of Jesus, that is, without trusting Christ for salvation. [emphasis added]

Oh dear friend, that is so beautiful. Please don't miss it! The only change of mind concerning sin that you need to have to be saved, is to ADMIT that you are one. Romans 3:19-20, “Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” To be saved, you just need to realize that you are a GUILTY SINNER, so that you will know what you are being saved from. As guilty sinners we all deserve to be punished by God's wrath in a burning Hell forever and ever (Revelation 20:12-15).

Nowhere in the inspired King James Bible are we ever told to “turn away from sin and self” to be saved. Rather, we read in 2nd Timothy 2:25, “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” Repentance is acknowledging THE TRUTH that you are a dirty sinner and that Jesus is the blessed Savior. Repentance is not turning away from your sin; but rather, your unbelief. Repentance is turning to Christ in faith to be saved, not turning away from your evil way, which according to Jonah 3:10 would be WORKS, And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Listen, Jesus Christ came into the world to die on a cross to pay your sin debt and mine, He doesn't demand that we first reform (nor commit to reform) to change our behavior as a prerequisite to saving faith. That would be WORKS! Romans 4:5-7, “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.” Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

By sloppy preachers (like Revival Fires) foolishly using phrases like, “turn away from sin and self” to be saved, it utterly confuses people. What does that even mean, “turn away from sin and self,” to be saved? Do they mean to literally forsake your sinful bad habits? Do they mean that you must stop being so selfish in your dealings with others? We simply don't know, because the terminology that they use is so vague. Do they mean what John R. Rice meant, that the way you turn from sin is to believe on Christ? Do they mean that repentance is an extra step to be saved, or part of just believing? The burden of trying to figure out what Revival Fires meant is a serious problem. This is another reason why I absolutely hate phrases like “repent of your sins” or “turn from your sin” to be saved, because they are very ambiguous terms that leave much room for wild speculation. We simply don't know what preachers and laymen mean, when they use such unbiblical lingo.

Dear reader, a Gospel presentation ought never be so confusing that a lost sinner feels burdened, not knowing what to do to be saved. When the Philippian jailer in Rome asked Paul and Silas in prison, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” in Acts 16:30, their simply answer in verse 31b was to, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” They didn't tell the man to “turn from his sins and self.” In fact, I cannot find even one passage of Scripture in the King James Bible, where anyone was told to “turn from their sin” to be saved. Ungodly clergy have wrested the Holy Bible to fit their whims and agendas, perverted the Gospel.

The true Gospel always points you to CHRIST; a false gospel always points to YOU. Thank you for reading.

Repent Of Your Sins And Thou Shalt Go To Hell

Jonah 3:10, “And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.”

One of the biggest false teachings today is the lie that to be saved you must “repent of your sins.” What they mean is that you must forsake a lifestyle of sinning. They errantly think you are required by God to make an effort to stop sinning. They erroneously call this repentance, but this is not Bible repentance. What hypocrites! None of them have ever turned from their sinning. Even the best Christian still chooses to sin (Romans 7:14-25). What they are teaching is in fact reformation (a change of behavior). They are teaching penitence (sorrow for sins). They are teaching penance (making a mend for one's sins).
Repenting of your sins is actually keeping you from coming to Christ to be saved.

In Matthew 27:3b we read that “Judas repented himself.” The Greek word used here is “metamellomai” which means “to care afterwards, i.e., regret.” This is penitence, not true Bible repentance for salvation. This is a VERY different word than the word “repent” concerning salvation used in Mark 1:15, “metanoeo,” which means, “to think differently.” In every case of a Scripture passage teaching about salvation, either the Greek noun “metanoia (a change of mind is used, or the Greek verb “metanoeo” *to think differently). Turning from your sins is NOT accepting God's free gift of eternal life, it is trying to pitch in and do your part to help Christ save you. The only ones going to Heaven are the EASY-BELIEVISM people.

Beware Of The Devil's Modern Corrupt Bibles

Turning from your sins is self-righteousness. You cannot show me anywhere in the inspired King James Bible where is teaches to repent “of your sins.” Wicked men ADDED those words. What saith the Scripture? Proverbs 30:5-6, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. See for yourself how corrupt today's Bible revisions really are...

Beware Of The Devil's Corrupt Bible Revisions!

All of the ignorant preachers and laymen today who are saying that you must “turn from your sin” to get to Heaven are woefully deceived. They are teaching a different meaning of repentance than the inspired King James Bible teaches. By the way, please avoid ALL modern Bible revisions, because Satan has corrupted them. Here's are some examples how the modern Bible versions corrupt God's intended meaning of repentance...
KING JAMES BIBLE (KJB) — Mark 1:15, “And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” [emphasis added]

EASY-TO-READ VERSION (ERV) — Mark 1:15, “He said, “The right time is now here. God’s kingdom is very near. Change your hearts and lives, and believe the Good News!” [emphasis added]

NEW LIFE VERSION (NLV) - Mark 1:15, “He said, 'The time has come. The holy nation of God is near. Be sorry for your sins, turn from them, and believe the Good News.'” [emphasis added]

GOOD NEWS TRANSLATION (GNT) - Mark 1:15, “The right time has come,” he said, “and the Kingdom of God is near! Turn away from your sins and believe the Good News!” [emphasis added]
COMMON ENGLISH BIBLE (CEB) - Mark 1:15, “saying, 'Now is the time! Here comes God’s kingdom! Change your hearts and lives, and trust this good news!'” [emphasis added]
LIVING BIBLE (TLB) - Mark 1:15, “At last the time has come!” he announced. “God’s Kingdom is near! Turn from your sins and act on this glorious news!” [emphasis added]
As I have just showed you, what the modern Bible versions are teaching is DRASTICALLY DIFFERENT than what the inspired King James Bible reads. Either repentance means “to turn away from sins” or it means “to change your mind,” but it cannot mean both. In the Word of God, the word for “repent” is metanoia, which only means “a change of mind.” We don't know what to change our mind about, because the word itself doesn't tell us. It is an open-ended all-inclusive term, which requires supplemental information. God did this deliberately, so that repentance would include anything and everything which hinders a person from believing the Gospel. Hence, to “repent” means to think differently about whatever it is that has been hindering you from BELIEVING THE GOSPEL to be saved. Giving up your lifestyle of sinning would be WORKS! We're not saved by anything we do, or don't do; we are saved by BELIEVING ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (Acts 16:30-31).

Here are some important contrasts between the Biblical Gospel verses demonic Lordship Salvation...

1st Corinthians 1:21, “For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.” Please notice that the Bible doesn't say God “saves them that repent”; no, it says, “TO SAVE THEM THAT BELIEVE”! But don't you have to repent to be saved? Yes, but repentance is automatic. No one has ever believed the Gospel who didn't simultaneously turn away from unbelief. You obviously have to turn FROM something in order to turn TO something, but we are not saved by turning from anything, we are saved by BELIEVING on the name of Jesus. John 6:47, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”

This is why we find the words “believe,” “believest” and “believeth” mentioned 87 times in the Gospel of John, which is God's Gospel tract according to John 20:31, “But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” Not once, NOT ONCE, is any mention made of “repentance” in the Gospel of John. The word “repent” is not mentioned even once! That is because repentance is an automatic thing. That is, the person who believes has also repented. No one can place their trust in the Gospel without first turning away from whatever was hindering them from believing the Gospel in the first place. Therefore, it is not necessary to mention repentance when sharing the Gospel with someone.

As I have warned you before from the holy Scriptures, so warn I you again (all you independent Baptist pastors, non-denominational, et cetera), “beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked” (2nd Peter 3:17). Sadly, I have found that often church congregations control the pastor. They hire a slackdog ecumenical pastor from the get-go, expecting apostasy from the very beginning, and that's what they get!!! America was much better off spiritually when being a pastor meant having “a call” instead of being a mere “profession.” Today church pastors are shameful, despising and standing afar off from truth-tellers like me, who actually care about doctrinal integrity, care about the purity of the Word of God, and care about the accuracy of the Gospel. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”

Turning from your sins is not accepting God's free gift of eternal life. You are in fact trusting to some extent in yourself, by saying “I have repented of all MY sins.” This is a wicked heretical doctrine of devils which has crept into most Baptist churches today, damning those who embrace this false doctrine.

They need to repent of their “repent of your sins” heresy to be saved.

Here is the best quote that I've found on repentance, by Dr. Harry A. Ironside (1876-1951):
Wow! Now dear reader do you understand why I preach so often against the Devil's modern Bible PERversions? Nobody goes to Heaven because he repented of his sins. The only people who goes to Heaven are those who trust in Jesus Christ alone, and they put all their faith in what He did. Jesus died on the cross for our sins. He was buried. Three days later He miraculously resurrected from the dead. They need to repent of their false repentance to be saved.
“Religious people go to Hell; Saved people go to Heaven. Don't ever blame religion on God. He didn't come up with it, Satan did. Religion is of the Devil; Salvation is of the Lord.” —Pastor Al Lacy (a quote from the sermon titled: “No Unbelievers In Hell
Repenting of your sins is actually keeping you from coming to Christ to be saved.

Good works are not the payment for sin, the payment for sin is death.

The Gospel is not “turn from your sin and wicked way,” and then SECOND, trust Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the 'GOOD NEWS' that Jesus is the Christ who died on a cross to pay for our sins. He was buried. Three days later Jesus physically resurrected from the dead. These three things are 'THE GOSPEL.' Jesus' death, burial and resurrection comprise the Gospel. Whosoever BELIEVES IT is saved. Romans 1:16, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” When you hear the Gospel (Good News) preached, and you put your faith (confidence, trust) in it, you are saved. That is why the Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 3:2, “This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? I love that last phrase... BY THE HEARING OF FAITH.

In Acts 2:41b, the Bible says that 3,000 people “gladly received his word” and were saved. That is, while the Apostle Peter was preaching the 'GOOD NEWS' of Jesus Christ crucified, buried and risen for their sins, the people BELIEVED IT and were saved. Getting saved is that easy and simple! To get to Heaven dear friend, you just need to BELIEVE that Jesus did it all for you. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do.

Remember, Judas repented of his sins and still went to Hell. Judas had a devil in him (John 6:70). Jesus said that it would have been better for Judas if he had never been born (Matthew 26:24). Dear reader, if you don't think turn from your sins is a WORK, you are woefully mistaken. Jesus was asked by some people what WORK they needed to do to please God. John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.” The only “WORK” which God requires or allows to enter into the Kingdom of God is to BELIEVE ON THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. Faith is the only righteous thing that I can do. Thank you for reading.
